The Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Science, University of the Philippines, Alpha Chapter, held its Induction of members last February 23, 2005 at 2PM at Ang Bahay ng Alumni, U.P. Diliman.

The Philippine Alpha chapter of Pi Gamma Mu has been selected to receive the Roll of Merit award. The Roll of Merit is given to chapters based on the activity and effectiveness of the chapter, as well as its efficiency of operation.

A 12-minute documentary on Pi Gamma Mu, University of the Philippines, Alpha Chapter was shown for the first time during the Induction Ceremonies of Pi Gamma Mu members last February 23, 2005.
